Whatyou'll do

As a TechnicalAnalyst, you'll be working across the solutions lifecycle, fromrequirements analysis and design, through to coding, testing,deployment and operation. Working in the feature team, you'll bedeveloping your expertise to help solve business problems presentedto make sure our customers are getting the best experiencepossible.

By applying Agilemethods, you'll be developing and producing solutions continuallyand rapidly that meet current non-functional requirements and areflexible to cope with future functional and non-functionalneeds.

You'll alsobe:

  • Producinginnovative ideas and confirming these through experimenting andprototyping
  • Designing and developing solutionswith a focus on the automation of build, test and deploymentactivities using executable patterns
  • Evaluatingand analysing metrics to continually improveperformance
  • Using, and contributing to thedevelopment of standard patterns
  • Collaboratingwith principal engineers and domain architects to build anunderstanding of the wider platform and how it supports businessobjectives

Theskills you'll need

We'relooking for someone highly technical with experience of engineeringdisciplines such as analysis, design, testing and deployment.You’ll have a background in solving complex analytical andnumerical problems, and will be able to rapidly and effectivelyunderstand and translate product and business requirements intotechnical solutions.

We'll also look to you todemonstrate a clear understanding of how your technical specialismsupports our customers by producing high availability, low costsolutions.

On top of this,you'llbring:

  • Experienceof Agile and DevOps tools andmethodologies
  • Excellentcommunication skills with the ability to communicate complextechnical concepts concisely, to peers and seniorstakeholders
  • Experiencein interpreting and creating API’s usingswagger
  • Experience inworking with Microservices, within an architectural andorganisational approach to softwaredevelopment
  • UMLmodelling experience in an analysis and designdomain
