We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded Market Development Director to lead our global market expansion efforts. The Market Development Director will play a pivotal role in identifying new market opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving business growth in key regions worldwide. This position requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the photovoltaic industry landscape, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of success in market development and expansion. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive market development strategies to drive growth and market share expansion in key regions globally. Identify and evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and identify new business opportunities. Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships and alliances with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and potential customers, to support market penetration and business development initiatives. Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns, product positioning strategies, and promotional activities to drive brand awareness and customer engagement. Collaborate with product development and R&D teams to identify emerging market trends and customer requirements, and drive product innovation and differentiation to maintain competitive advantage. Analyze market data and performance metrics to track progress against strategic objectives, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization of market development initiatives. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase our products and capabilities, network with industry peers, and identify new business opportunities. Provide strategic guidance and leadership to regional sales teams to support their efforts in driving customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion initiatives. Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to anticipate market trends and proactively adjust market development strategies as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in market development, business development, or strategic marketing roles within the renewable energy or photovoltaic industry. Proven track record of success in developing and executing market expansion strategies, driving revenue growth, and achieving business objectives in global markets. Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies and initiatives. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to address customer needs. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals and objectives. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support business development activities and attend industry events and conferences.
