RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Global Head of Professional Services, to build, manage and coordinate the Professional Services team within your region, and to optimise resources to deliver a range of Aimsun Services and Solutions, in a timely manner and to a high standard.
- Work closely with the Regional Managing Director and the Regional Head of Business Development to deliver against regional targets and goals.
- Manage the Professional Services team in region, to optimise resources and project delivery in a timely and effectively manner. Work with other Regional Heads of Professional Services to effectively share resources globally.
- Manage the portfolio of projects in the region and fulfil Project Manager/Project Director roles on projects as required.
- Provide technical support across a wide range of multi-disciplinary solutions projects.
- Ensure that all proposals and projects undertaken in your region follow Aimsun’s Project/Quality Management processes and meet technical and commercial expectations.
- Develop and foster strong client relationships, to ensure effective project delivery and future work winning.
- To lead and develop the staff in your team to help them meet their goals/achievements. Work with the GHoPS and line managers within your team, to identify staff training needs and to assist in staff recruitment.
- Comply with Aimsun’s policies, processes, guidelines, and procedures relevant to your role and workplace.
MUST-HAVES
- Relevant Degree (or equivalent), in an associated discipline. (e.g. Engineering, Geography,
Mathematics, Data Science/Computing)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (including Presentation Skills)
- Project Management Experience
- Team Management Experience
- Client Management Experience
- At least 8-10 years of experience in traffic modelling and/or transport planning
- Experience with Aimsun Next transport modelling software (and/or other modelling software)
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Other language skills, including French, Spanish, German, Chinese
