Location: Leeds, United Kingdom Salary: £50,000 Per Annum + OTE £75,000 + Company Car Are you a dynamic and results-driven individual with a proven track record in sales, particularly within the utility and energy sector? We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing team in Leeds, focusing on delivering substantial cost savings to large multi-million-pound accounts. Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in large enterprises, understanding their unique needs and challenges. Consultative Selling: Take a consultative approach to identify opportunities for utility and energy cost savings. Provide tailored solutions that align with clients' business objectives. Strategic Account Management: Manage a portfolio of high-value accounts, developing account plans, and executing strategies to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction. Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet both customer and company objectives. Market Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and innovations in the utility and energy sector to position our offerings effectively. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly in the utility and energy sector.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large accounts and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels within client organisations.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a strategic mindset.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency solutions and cost-saving strategies.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
