GP for Care Homes

Are you a newly qualified GP who wants to cut their teeth with an innovative and digital-savvy company? Want to gain experience in management as well as still having time to help patients? The Management GP will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of GP Pathfinder Clinics. This individual will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, delivering high-quality care to patients, managing the practice team, and contributing to the overall success of our clinics. This role would require travel between our practices in North-West London and head office as needed.
This brand-new Management GP role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our mission to deliver exceptional patient care. As our services grow, we seek a passionate, adaptable team player ready to shape the future of our practice and embrace new challenges. We are looking to recruit a fixed-term employed GP position, initially for one year with a view to extend. Ideal for newly qualified GPs eager to gain valuable leadership experience.

Act as a clinical role model, demonstrating exceptional clinical care and patient management skills.
Participate in clinical governance activities, including audits, incident reporting, and risk assessments.
Deliver efficient and safe patient care via several means: face to face, video, telephone, etc.
Conduct patient home visits and nursing home visits.
Handle administration tasks: dealing with queries, patient test results, referral letters NHS/private, tasks, emails, and other paperwork in a timely manner.
Practice Management:
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Shape the practice's auditing and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular audits of clinical records, processes, and systems.
Quality Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical practice and implement strategies to enhance quality.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits to ensure continuous improvement.
Recruit, train, and develop the practice team to meet the clinic's needs.
Experience in primary care practice management, preferably in a similar setting.
Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in primary care.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
