Role Overview:

We're looking for an experienced Amazon Creative Director who will craft brand images for clients suited to Amazon's marketplace, overseeing everything from research to the final design, using Adobe Creative Suite and occasionally Figma. This role involves creating design guidelines, streamlining team workflow, and providing individual support to designers. You'll collaborate closely with other teams to define project goals and offer feedback to maintain brand consistency. Staying ahead of design trends and educating the team is essential. Additionally, you'll handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they're completed on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow and manage the creative department aligned with the agency's vision.
  • Implement strategic plans and best practices.
  • Design and conduct training programs to enhance team skills.
  • Keep the team updated on industry trends and new tools.
  • Develop and update SOPs for all creative processes.
  • Implement systems to increase team efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze performance and make data-driven improvements.
  • Provide leadership and support to foster a positive work environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews and set clear goals.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop new team members.
  • Mentor team members for skill and career growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align creative work with business goals.
  • Oversee quality of creative outputs to meet standards and client expectations.
  • Implement feedback processes to maintain high-quality deliverables.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops for fresh ideas.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3+ years of proven experience in Leading a Graphic Designing Team, with a strong emphasis on e-commerce and Amazon platform expertise.
  • Mastery of graphic design tools , including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and a proven track record of creating innovative and compelling visuals for e-commerce platforms.
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics that demonstrate your design thinking and problem solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of Amazon’s ecosystem and e-commerce dynamics including Amazon’s terms of service and guidelines for product listings.
