On behalf of AWE, we are looking for a Supplier Onboarding Officer for a 9-month contract based 2 days per week in Aldermaston and working on a hybrid basis
What if you could work on something that you can't test but cannot afford to fail? Something that could have spent years on a submarine, is launched into outer space (where the temperature is below -250c), comes hurtling through the atmosphere, being heated up and shaken and then must work? Some challenge. That's exactly what the team of over 6,500 people at AWE do every day delivering important work, in support of the most important mission - keeping the nation safe.

* Develop and maintaining working relationships and awareness with key internal stakeholders.
* Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality and be a great team player.

* Ensure Commercial processes, tools and systems are understood and adhered to.
* Promote and ensuring the use of a fully evaluated and approved supply base.
* Work with key stakeholders to ensure the speedy resolution of queries.
* Support change and championing best practice to promote the Commercial function.
* Actively seek learning and development activities
* Consistently demonstrate positive behaviours in line with the company's environmental, sustainability, safety, health, security, quality, and ethics standards
Essential:
* SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role; as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks
* Strong Administration skills
* Ability to manage database recording and updating changes
