We’re looking for an Automation Test Lead to take charge of our clients testing strategy. In this role, you’ll develop and manage testing for their web-based SaaS platform with a particular focus on their iOS and Android apps. Collaborating closely with the development and product teams, you’ll ensure that their software is released at the highest quality.

Your Role:

  • Create and manage testing strategies for web and mobile applications.
  • Lead automated and manual testing, focusing on Cypress for automation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and high-quality releases.
  • Identify, document, and resolve bugs efficiently.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

What You Bring:

  • Experience as a Test Lead or similar role.
  • Strong skills in manual and automated testing, especially with Cypress.
  • Experience with web-based SaaS and mobile apps.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with test tools like Selenium or Appium.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Testing certifications are a bonus (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).

As part of a rapidly growing business, you’ll have the opportunity to build and onboard your own team as the role evolves. They generally meet one or two times a month in the Leeds office to collaborate and connect.
