School of Automation is an apprenticeship and career management employer with a unique methodology of selection, training and mentoring of talent so they can launch successfully into the world of process automation and find sustainable employment.

SoA exists to broaden the opportunities for people to release their creativity and develop the technical skills to transform the world around them using Automation Technology.

Intelligent Automation technology allows anyone to configure computer software, or a robot, to emulate and integrate the actions of a human interacting within digital systems to execute a business process. Robots utilise the user interface to capture data and manipulate applications just like humans do. They interpret, trigger, responses, and communicate with other systems to perform various tasks.

Programme overview

12 week online foundation programme - Fully funded by Department for Education.

Introduces you to the concept of Intelligent Automation and teaches you how to develop and run bots using software such as UiPath.

Benefits

  • Training from our technical industry experts;
  • You will also complete industry diplomas along the way to consolidate your learning covering modules such as: Selectors, Variables, Debugging, Orchestrator etc;
  • Remote online training, allowing you to take part from any location in England;
  • Sessions will be a blend of online calls and demos with our trainer and then individual and team exercises to complete;
  • On successful completion of the course, there will be an opportunity to go forward for interview with one of our client partners;
  • The course is provided at no cost.

Criteria

  • Basic IT skills, Problem solver, Creative;
  • You must live in England and have access to a laptop (Windows) and internet;
  • You must have right to work in England;
  • Committed and available for the full 12-week programme;
  • You must be 19 plus years to apply;
  • If you are unemployed you will still be eligible to receive universal credit payments whilst on the course;
  • You must not have completed another government funded skills bootcamp within the financial year.
