I am currently working with a business law firm based in the City of London who are looking to expand their finance team. Whilst they are recognised for our strong culture and investing in our people, we are equally well known for our high-profile matters, quality of our work and solving our clients' most complex legal issues. Primarily responsible for all routine cashiering tasks with an emphasis on the office account. Daily Office Account bank reconciliations (and Client Account bank reconciliations when the Cashier Supervisor is absent)
Daily review of the Office and Client accounts online and making the relevant postings into 3E
Reconciliation of the firm's IPO, WIPO, and OHIM accounts
Reconciliation of the firm's credit card account
Always ensuring compliance with the SRA Rules, liaising with the other cashiering staff as required.
Answering queries from partners, fee earners and legal assistants
Covering for the Cashier Manager, Senior Cashier and Accounts Payable during annual leave or other absence
Reviewing and posting of all bills and credit notes within 24 hours of receipt
Immediately available or 1 week's notice
