About The Job: As a Gamekeeping Instructor you will provide a mixture of practical training and background knowledge, providing vocational training in a real working environment helping to manage a local estate in Fife. General Teaching Responsibilities:
Supervise and support students during training and assessment activity.
Provide constructive feedback to students on their performance.
Observe and assess vocational competency either in college or in the workplace.
Provide feedback to lecturers on learner performance in practical activities.
Liaise with lecturing staff in preparation for and during teaching sessions as timetabled
Quality
Maintain all College gamekeeping equipment and facilities in safe and effective working order.
Operate College gamebird enterprise in accordance with College teaching requirements
Co-ordinate with appropriate staff on all College student shoot days
Ensure health and safety standards are maintained including participation in risk assessments activities.
Adhere to inclusion strategies to overcome real or perceived barriers to learning.
This is a fixed-term appointment of 12 months.
The ideal candidate should have a good general standard of education (SCQF Level 5 or above). This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. If you are a migrant worker you will need to ensure you have an appropriate visa to evidence the necessary right to work in the UK.
