Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Management Information Systems (MIS) Manager to join the team.
Job Type/Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Leading a dedicated team, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the MIS infrastructure. Your strategic vision and technical expertise will drive enhancements to the systems, empowering the institution to make data-driven decisions and achieve educational objectives.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the institution's Management Information Systems, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the functionality, performance, and security of MIS systems, keeping abreast of emerging technologies and best practices
- Establish and maintain robust data governance practices, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of institutional data
- Provide strategic guidance on the selection, procurement, and integration of MIS-related software and tools
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimise downtime and optimise efficiency
- Develop and deliver training programmes to educate staff on MIS usage, best practices, and data security protocols
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing Management Information Systems in an educational or similar institutional setting
- Strong technical proficiency in database management, data warehousing, business intelligence, and related technologies (e.g., SQL, Oracle, Tableau)
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, project planning, and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and experience implementing data governance frameworks
