Working within a fast paced and energetic preconstruction team in the Head Office outside Uxbridge.

You will be working between the Pre-Construction Manager, Technical Engineers, Estimation Team & Procurement to pull together compliant and attractive bid proposals.

You may be following up or finalizing quotations, drawings and reports needed for a tender submission. Dealing with UK & Overseas Subcontractors, Clients & Suppliers.

Fair to say that you will be managing multiple spinning plates and need to be HIGHLY organized to make this role a success. Can you keep calm and focused working to tight deadlines?

The energy, excitement and focus needed to work in a pre-construction is hard to explain. Therefore, the client really wants someone that understands the environment and challenges faced. Things sometimes crop up that change the game plan and that is construction

What the client is after is a character that embraces change and approaches this in a proactive and positive attitude.

This hard work and attitude will be rewarded. If you want to come and be part of something special read on. This business turns over £500 Million + but its run by REAL People. Head office based role (no remote working available)

Tasks in the role

* Provide support to the team on bids, submissions and pricing.

* Handle day-to-day queries and communications.

* Manage queries both face-to-face and over the phone.

* Liaise with suppliers and coordinate orders for stock and PPE.

* Generate reports on cost & progress.

Desired

* Previous experience in a construction environment handling bid or preconstruction.

* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

* IT Skills - Excel, Word and so on

* Capability to manage bid progress reports.

* Please note this is a ROLE based in the office. NO Remote working thank you this does not work for the client
