The company are Scotland's largest estate and leasing agent with a national network of high street branches, including in the key cities of Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Stirling.

They are also one of the most respected litigation practices in Scotland, acting for most major banks and financial institutions. Offering full range of legal services to individuals and businesses – they have established leading financial services department, which deals with everything from personal finance up to corporate benefits.

The Mortgage and Protection Advisor Role

As a Mortgage and Protection Advisor for the brokerage, you'll be covering award winning estate agency branches in Aberdeen and Stonehaven. You’ll be provided with leads directly from the Estate Agency branches that you work alongside, and through established network of introducers.

You will support and guide clients throughout their mortgage and protection journey, helping them secure suitable mortgage and protection products that are tailored to their needs and financial circumstances.

Mortgage and Protection Advisor key responsibilities

  • Provide expert Mortgage and Protection advice and guidance to clients
  • Helping clients secure the most suitable mortgage and protection products
  • Tailored Mortgage and Protection products to match financial circumstances.
  • Assess clients' financial information, creditworthiness, and eligibility
  • Analyse and compare mortgage & protection products from various lenders & providers
  • Keep up to date with new mortgage products and changes in mortgage regulation
  • Follow industry rules and guidelines and ensure you give impartial and appropriate financial advice
  • Maintain clear communication between all parties

The Mortgage and Protection Advisor Package

  • Basic Salary: £32k
  • Commission 20% - 24%
  • Dedicated admin support
  • Abundance of leads provided
  • Pre-qualified appointments
  • Leads convert at 50%

Mortgage and Protection Advisor desired skills and experience

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Mortgage Advisor
  • CeMap qualified
  • Whole of market mortgage and protection experience
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of compliance procedures
  • Ability and desire to travel to other offices in the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire area
  • Unquestionable work ethic - A can, and will do, approach
  • Be articulate with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, in person, by telephone and in written form
  • Naturally organised and be able to work on your own as well as part of a team
