Key to Alexandra’s success, this role within the team is responsible for supporting that success by driving growth in your designated Portfolio. We expect you to act as a brand ambassador forming a unique partnership with each customer, new and old, by having a deep understanding of their needs, fulfilled by your delivery of a long-term vision and strategy.
Accountable for delivering the sales & margin targets for your defined accounts / portfolio, while also applying a wider business perspective, to support the delivery of both the strategy and the sales team objectives.
· Maintain regular contact with existing customers, in line with the business’s agreed contact strategy, to both identify potential needs and stimulate new sales opportunities.
· Work alongside the Account Executive Team to optimise call and journey plans to maximise your/their selling activities.
· Structure weekly/Quarterly face to face new business and contract review meetings to develop growth and retention within the portfolio.
· Manage customer expectations and in turn work collaboratively with Internal stakeholders to manage risks and uncertainties whilst delivering to plan.
· Take commercial accountability for key non-financial measures including forecasting accuracy, debt, product and pricing accuracy.
· Identify opportunities to build the Alexandra Brand profile either within their business or in the Marketplace they compete.
· Proactively deepen customer and market knowledge to inform the business planning and account priorities.
· Create and deliver strong commercial proposals using PowerPoint, Excel and Word
· Review and support internal stakeholders to deliver Tenders and Presentations in a timely manner.
· Complete strong preparation and planning for account engagement, securing support and alignment internally.
**This role can be undertaken from one of our office locations (Stoke Gifford or Castle Donington, however there will be travel expected to visit Scotland once every 3 weeks.
