  • Cashflow management in line with GEA policy, cash flow forecasting & approval of weekly payment runs and adhoc payments
  • Responsible for calculation & reconciliation of quarterly VAT Returns
  • Lead monthly reporting process across 2 business units, supporting the Financial Controller in the analysis and reporting requirements to internal GEA FT UK Stakeholders and Divisional requirements
  • Ensuring full reconciliation of Balance Sheet with the support of Assistant Accountant
  • Support budget setting process alongside Financial Controller
  • Internal & external Audit support, evidence gathering and liaison with internal stakeholders
  • Management of correct accounting for IFRS16
  • Ensure car fleet records are maintained to support insurance, IFRS 16 and P11d requirements
  • Payroll Support
  • Management of company fixed assets including capital spend management
  • With the support of the Accounts Assistant
    • Liaise with Centralised Service Centre resolving any issues faced by internal or external stakeholder
    • Ensure timely approval of invoices on purchase invoice workflow tool to support month end accuracy and timely payment to supplier base, in accordance with GEA policy
    • Management of FX heding requirements
  • Liaise with Credit Controller to ensure correct processing of Sales Invoices and Aged Debt provision management
  • Liaise with business stakeholders to understand stock level requirements
  • Support Financial Controller with acquisitions and provide implementation support, adhoc.
Responsibilities / Tasks

Your Profile / Qualifications
  • Qualified Finance Professional (AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience of working in global / matrix organization, desirable
  • Effective communicator with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Task / Deadline orientated
  • SAP & Business Warehouse experience essential
  • SAGE experience desirable
  • Intermediate EXCEL skills essential, ie SUMIF, VLOOKUP, PIVOT functions
  • Team orientated and Self Motivated
  • Ability to multitask / prioritise task effectively, essential
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement to support business processes and cost management
