Purpose of the Job To provide leadership,supporting with the managementand development of a defined contract and ensuring financial, and operational commitments are met and exceeded. Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide leadership and ensure that contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
  2. Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of the contract are exploited, to deliver increased turnover and profitability, ensure additional services and projects are added, and contracts are re-won on re-tender.
  3. Ensuring business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within the contract. Review and implement changes for more efficiency if required.
  4. Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions so that both clients and Company health and safety policy and process is effectively implemented across both the business and subcontractors’activities and are regularly reviewed.
  5. Cost reduction with the delivery of service excellence.
  6. Working with the senior leadership team to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective teamworking, and support to colleagues.
  7. Supporting the Technical Service Manager’s with development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded.
  8. Support Technical Service Manager’s to ensure appropriate control systems to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.
  9. Ensuring a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts.
  10. Promoting and maintaining the core Values of the business
  11. Provision of leadership and guidance, advice, coaching and direct support, where required to deliver best practice selection, training, assessment, and recognition/reward.
  12. Delivering effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other publications, as appropriate.
  13. Supporting the sales process through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings, hosting visits, and support to mobilisation as required on new contracts.
  14. Provide a learning environment, and appropriate training and development planning. Support teams to ensure basic training needs are delivered, employees are fully competent to undertake their roles, and can reach their full future potential.
Specific role requirements
  • Support in underperforming areas,or where required
  • Process reviews and improvements (ops and finance)
  • Pre-audit reviews support to minimise Stat and Non-Stat NC’s during QHSE or AGM audits
  • Support with audit actions completions (guide Technical Service Managers’s for better understanding and requirements to satisfy auditor for action closures)
  • Ownership of the contract customer support with open tasks, compliance, WIP and billing
  • Understand and support withthe open book billing process via 3rd party (build relationship with Gleeds), support with query resolutions before billing deadline
  • Driving behaviours
  • Client first – build relationship with the client and support when required
  • Customer Feedback – support with complaints resolutions
  • Learning from Experience – support QHSE to deliver LFE to all operatives on the contract
  • Support Account Manager to ensure that key deliverables, SLA’s, KPI’s and client expectations are met / exceeded
  • Deputise for Account Manager when absent from the business
