***This is a permanent role and immediately available

The Assembly Operative Role:

* Report into the Production Manager and work collaboratively with the team to ensure production targets are achieved and customer satisfaction is exceeded

* Work from specifications to assemble products to the highest quality, using hand tools, measuring equipment and various machinery

* Quality check final product, accurately reporting weight, dimensions and any defects

* General housekeeping and ensuring adhering to health and safety on-site

* Support with continuous improvement within the department and work to Lean Principles

* Problem solving when required and using own initiative to drive tasks to completion

* Entering various data onto the internal system(s)

You’ll Need:

* Previous experience of operating within manufacturing or engineering is essential

* Experience of using hand tools, measuring equipment and machinery would be beneficial, however training will be provided

* Able to follow instructions and has attention to detail

* Basic IT skills

* Able to support with overtime as the business requires

* Due to the nature of work, manual handling will be required at times
