Exciting Opportunity for a Head of Account Management in North Leeds

Are you an enthusiastic leader with a proven track record in driving sales growth and fostering meaningful customer relationships? We are partnering with a leading global company in the Health and Personal Care industry, specialising in the innovation and manufacturing of sustainable products for the Retail market. As the Head of Account Management, you'll be the driving force behind a truly dedicated and collaborative sales team, leading by example and inspiring excellence every step of the way. From mentoring and coaching to strategic planning and relationship-building, you'll do it all. Your role will be to drive performance and provide leadership to deliver on the sales budget, with full P&L responsibility. Alongside this, you will 'lead by example' having ownership of key accounts.

Key Responsibilities of the Head of Account Management:

Lead, inspire, and coach a team of passionate sales and account management professionals with clear direction, effective communication, and ongoing training.
Drive account expansion and portfolio growth through innovative strategies.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and talent development, spotting gaps and identifying talent in the team with a focus on succession planning.
Manage 2 to 3 key accounts and nurture relationships with stakeholders, leading by example.
Travel nationally and internationally to seize new opportunities and support your team in key client meetings.4+ years proven leadership experience in managing sales/account management teams of 5+ professionals, with a focus on coaching and driving results.
A background in Product or Brand within Manufacturing, Retail, or FMCG sectors is preferred.
Experience managing sales budget, monitoring KPIs, and driving results.
Flexibility to travel nationally and our client in shaping the future of their brand and product, contributing to a sustainable retail market and really making a meaningful impact in the sales landscape.
