A world class, global manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Inspector with experience of CMM to join their modern manufacturing site in South Nottingham working on a double day shift pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm). As a Quality Inspector you will join a small team and be responsible for inspecting technically complex and high precision parts and assemblies, ensuring they meet or exceed customer requirements, design specifications and company quality standards. Details: Up to £40k basic salary depending on experience (+10% shift premium payable on the afternoon shifts) Company Annual Bonus Scheme 25 Days Holidays plus bank holidays Modern, clean facility with access to an onsite gym and restaurant Shifts: Wk 1 = Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm, Fri 6am-1pm, Wk 2 = Mon-Thurs 2pm-10pm, Fri 1pm-8pm (10% shift premium paid on these shifts) Key responsibilities of Quality Inspector: Conduct 1st part, in process and final part inspections to ensure accuracy of manufacture and that traceability of documentation is complete. Conduct various quality tests to check conformance to specifications using equipment such as calipers, thickness gauge micrometers, height gauge, hand gauges, manual CMM plus other equipment. Maintain quality records as required by the Quality Management System. Conduct incoming inspections as required by the Quality Management System. Skills Required of Quality Inspector: 5+ years of previous inspection experience Experience in a machine shop or precision manufacturing environment preferred.
