As the Design Manager, you will play a crucial role in the production, quality, and management of drawings and specifications. Collaboration with Senior Management. As part of the senior management team, you'll actively contribute to the development of relevant aspects of the business strategy and operations. Design Department Oversight: You'll oversee the design department, managing a team of skilled design engineers. Your attention to detail is crucial in maintaining quality standards. Design Change Management: Manage design changes through the Design Change Request Process. Legal Compliance: Ensure all legal requirements related to design and build functionality are met. Compliance is essential for safety and regulatory purposes.

To excel in this role, you should hold an undergraduate degree (2:1 or above) in a relevant discipline or its equivalent. Additionally, having previous experience with the SolidWorks package, project management and/or team management experience, knowledge of relevant legislative requirements (including Type Approval), exceptional interpersonal skills, effective presentation abilities, and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Demonstrating effective organisational, planning, and time management skills will contribute to your success as our Design Manager.

In return for your expertise and dedication, you'll receive a competitive salary of circa £50,000.
