About the Role
The Association for Coaching (AC) has an exciting opportunity for a People Operations Manager to support a full range of People activities, from recruitment, talent management, contractual management and people budget planning.
This role will be a great fit if you enjoy delivering upon the resourcing needs of the company and will enjoy working in an evolving global environment. You’ll be a strong communicator, highly skilled at building relationships and h ave a background in OD, Talent Development, Human Resources, HR Operations and Resourcing. It would be desirable if you had an international background working across diverse cultures.
About the Team
You will be part of the Shared Services team working alongside a diverse range of talented individuals who personify the AC values and ethics. You will work alongside AC CEO, COO, Leadership Teams and the Area Chairs to provide guidance on a range of resourcing and people operations activities and initiatives.
Role Deliverables / Focus Areas
Talent Planning:
· Provide resourcing guidance and talent planning support to the Leadership teams and Area Chairs and to ensure peoples skills are optimised, and teams are suitably resourced to provide an excellent service.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
· Provide end-to-end recruitment and onboarding support, delivering a positive experience to all; and ensure diversity, equity and inclusion across our talent.
Contractual management:
· Advise and lead on contractual management activities including appropriate compliance and legislation activities for the contingent workforce.
People Budget :
· Facilitate regular reviews with the Leadership Teams to discuss people-costs, working in partnership with the Finance team to guarantee good internal financial controls .
Complaints Process:
· Overseeing the AC Complaints Process.
Skill Requirements
· You will have an ability to drive recruitment , deliver contractual documents and maintain centralised people budget.
· You’ll work well with others to make things happen, you’ll be future focused, pro-active, solutions-oriented and structured.
· You are known for your excellent, relationship building and interpersonal skills, you work collaboratively with diverse communities and professionals.
Rate and Hours
We are seeking a self-employed candidate available to work up to 15 hours per month, ideally delivered daily Monday to Friday: at a rate of £22 per hour for an initial 6-month contract. Following a successful 6-month period and review, the contract will be extended.

We are a virtual team, and you will need to be familiar with communication technologies to facilitate virtual working. You will also need excellent general computer skills with a working knowledge of Office applications, for example Microsoft Excel, Customer Relationships Management (CRM) systems and file management using Cloud services (eg Dropbox).
