WHAT TO EXPECT

The UK Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing the parts operation with the UK market. 

The role forms an integral part of the Jaguar Land Rover NSC Client Care Organisation. The core Function of this role is to provide the parts supply chain with the required focus and support, ensuring customer orders are satisfied on time in full, in line with the JLR committed service levels. 

The parts supply chain supports our customers, ensuring JLR provide the most responsive aftermarket supply chain in the automotive industry, whilst embedding the Customer Love approach. The role includes managing the retailer inventory to ensure the Retailer’s customer has the best opportunity to be supplied first time fill.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Championing the future of parts to support Retail Reimagined. Ensuring parts performance supports our Modern Luxury approach for our Clients and Retailers.
  • Representing the JLR Parts Operations and the highest point of escalation in Region to the Retailers, Retailer Committees, External Departments, Internal and External Suppliers and JLR Central Management. Providing the vital link between the Central Supply Chain Team, and the market voice.
  • Pipeline management, resolution of any escalations, delays or constraints and overseeing and controlling any change in local process and identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Drive the ‘Voice of the Customer’ and deliver a Supply Chain capable of over achieving on Customer expectation including identifying the methodology to gain Customer Feedback, documenting the VOC and manage the delivery of actions identified.
  • Supporting the Global Supply Chain Objectives by achieving high and consistent levels of parts availability whilst increasing revenue and providing outstanding Customer Service.
  • Identifying and prioritising shipments through the pipeline to expedite urgent parts for Customer vehicles off the road (Unit Down), continuously looking for a more responsive resolution.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Previous experience in Parts and / or Logistic Operations
  • Previous experience managing and influencing a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Good analytical skills and statistical ability
  • Experience or knowledge of project management and process improvement
  • Obsession with being client centric
