Sales Engineer
Location: Remote (UK), occasional travel across Europe
Currently working with a client who is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the construction and renewable energy sectors. With a focus on sustainability and cutting-edge technology, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pre Sales Engineer to join the team and support growth in the UK and European markets.
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding market presence in the construction and renewable energy sectors. You will work closely with the sales & Engineering team to provide technical expertise and support throughout the pre-sales process, from initial customer engagement to project proposal and solution design.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and objectives.
Develop detailed technical proposals and quotations, including scope of work, pricing, and implementation timelines.
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and project management, to ensure alignment between customer requirements and proposed solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team during customer meetings, negotiations, and contract discussions.
Occasionally travel across Europe to attend customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. Proven experience in a pre-sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably in the construction or renewable energy sector.
Experience working with customers in industries such as pharmaceuticals, agriculture, or related fields is highly advantageous.
Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe for customer meetings and events.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
