About the Role:

We are seeking a full-time, qualified Nursery Manager to join our team. The role involves leading our nursery teams to deliver outstanding care, driving employee engagement, and ensuring high-quality early childhood practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead nursery teams to deliver outstanding care
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance
  • Work with Recruitment and HR to ensure diverse workforce
  • Role model and mentor nursery team for high-quality practice
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Identify succession plans and develop high-performing colleagues
  • Implement commercial plans for nursery growth
  • Optimize revenue generation and cost efficiency
  • Engage with Local Authority to support nursery practice

Qualifications:

Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Early Years leadership role
  • Experience in regulatory inspections leading to 'Good' or 'Outstanding' outcome
  • Experience in developing high-performance teams
  • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and partners

Preferred Skills:

  • Confident decision-maker
  • Understanding of business/commerce and service excellence

Pay range and compensation package:

Starting from £42,523.80 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)
