Our client, a leader in the Transport sector, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Account Management to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving customer attraction, retention and growth within the organisation.

As the Head of Account Management, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic accounts, working closely with the sales team to nurture and develop relationships while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Nurturing and developing strategic accounts in collaboration with the sales team
  • Regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conducting performance evaluations
  • Resolve issues promptly to maintain and strengthen customer trust
  • Lead and develop the Account Management Team
  • Carry out line management duties and support the Sales team in the early stages of the customer journey.
  • Take full ownership of the Customer Onboarding Process
  • Liaise with Fleet Engineer to ensure repairs are conducted within SLA’s
  • Hold regular review meetings with the customer to discuss performance
  • Provide seamless communication between Sales, Operations and the Customer.
  • Experience in a similar role is ESSENTIAL
  • Strong business judgment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • National transport manager CPC or equivalent
