We are recruiting for a Senior PR and Communications Manager.

As the Senior PR and Communications Manager at Dext, you will lead the charge in developing and executing a comprehensive PR, social media and communication strategy. Your role is pivotal in enhancing our brand's presence, fostering engagement, and driving effective communication with our target audiences, stakeholders, and the wider Dext community. The purpose is to position Dext as a thought leader, build brand loyalty, and amplify our key messages across earned media channels and organic social, as well as collaborating with Internal Comms to bring our brand to life for our staff and colleagues.

The role - what you'll do:

Communication Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of the overall communications strategy, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand message.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and manage relationships with key media outlets.
  • Work with our PR and Comms agency to support the strategy

PR

  • Develop and execute public relations strategies to enhance the brand's visibility and reputation.
  • Cultivate relationships with journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers.
  • Work with our PR and Comms agency to support activation

Internal Comms

  • Partner with the Internal Communications Manager to ensure alignment between external and internal communications.

Social Media Strategy

  • Develop, implement and manage a robust social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Create compelling content for various social platforms, driving brand awareness and engagement.

Content Creation

  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information for content creation and ensure brand consistency.
  • Work with the design and content teams to produce high-quality written and visual content for social media, press releases, blog posts, and other communication channels.

Brand Management

  • Monitor and manage the online reputation of the brand through proactive communication and issues management.
  • Mitigate potential crises through effective communication strategies.

Goals & Objectives

Brand Perception

  • Enhanced brand perception and thought leadership in the accountancy industry.
  • Effective crisis management with minimal impact on brand reputation.

Social Media Metrics

  • Increased engagement and follower growth across social media platforms.
  • Positive sentiment and feedback from the online community.

Media Coverage

  • Successful placement of key messages in targeted media outlets.
  • Growth in positive media coverage and mentions.

Essentials

Strategic Social Media Management

  • Proven experience in developing and executing social media strategies that align with business goals.
  • In-depth understanding of social media analytics and tools.

Effective Communication

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to craft compelling narratives and messages tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Able to interact and collaborate with C-level executives to deliver on strategies

Media Relations

  • Strong relationships with media outlets and demonstrated success in securing positive coverage.
  • Ability to handle media inquiries and interviews effectively.

PR

  • Proven experience in planning and executing PR campaigns.
  • Ability to identify and leverage opportunities for positive media coverage.

Content Creation

  • Proficiency in supporting the creation of engaging written and visual content for various platforms.
  • Experience in content ideation and planning.

PR/Comms

  • Familiarity and experience with PR and media monitoring tools for tracking media mentions and monitoring industry trends.

Social

  • Understanding of various social media platforms (eg. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) and their unique features, best practices, and audience demographics.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools for scheduling, analytics, and monitoring.
