With a competitive salary and a number of other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer interested in a new role or an individual from a similar background looking to get into the industry. Responsibilities

  • Servicing the company’s fleet of new and used forklift trucks and other specialist Material Handling equipment.
  • Preparing all equipment for dispatch to customers including conducting PDIs on new, short-term rental equipment and rebuilding used equipment for sale.
  • Adhering to the company’s health & safety policies whilst working on site
  • Reporting to the Workshop Team Leader
  • Developing an understanding of the manufacturer’s products and assisting with new staff further down the line
Requirements The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background due to the requirements of the role, however this is not essential. They will also consider candidates with a background working within a closely related industry such as plant equipment, automotive, commercial vehicles or similar. You will be able to work well on your own and as part of a team whilst being able to develop your skillset and learn as you go. In terms of location, you will need to be based within Newton Aycliffe. Benefits
