Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Workshop / Engineer to join our team in a workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on our forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
- Work with a variety of equipment, including small pallet trucks, IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks.
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics.
- NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential.
- IT literacy and ability to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good communication skills to liaise with customers and internal colleagues.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Take pride in your work and complete tasks to the highest standard.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A positive and can-do attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the role.
