BIM Coordinator at Leading London Design Studio
Join a dynamic London team as a BIM Coordinator, supporting architectural teams working on high-profile sports and entertainment projects both in the UK and internationally. This is your chance to coordinate large BIM datasets and complex project designs, making a significant impact within a leading design studio.
Key Responsibilities:
- BIM Coordination: Work closely with project teams and Design Technology management to coordinate large BIM datasets and manage complex project design scenarios.
- Mentorship: Collaborate with the BIM Manager to upskill and mentor team members in design technology practices across all project stages.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced Revit skills and in-depth knowledge of Revit & Navisworks, including running clash detection and producing clash reports.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Knowledge of Standards: Working knowledge of ISO19650.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Revit, experience with Navisworks for clash detection and report generation.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive and self-motivated with a collaborative working style to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience: Previous experience as a BIM Coordinator on medium/large scale projects using Revit and associated technologies.
- Educational Background: Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology, or equivalent.
- Software Skills: Knowledge of Dynamo with the ability to manage, read, and write scripts. Familiarity with Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, V-Ray, Bluebeam, BIM360 is advantageous.
