An award-winning architecture practice in London, renowned for its innovative approach and diverse international projects, is seeking a talented BIM Coordinator. This role offers a unique chance to lead project-specific BIM and Design Technology implementation across a variety of exciting UK and international projects.
About the Role:
As a BIM Coordinator, you will showcase your expertise in industry-trusted BIM and Design Technology platforms, supporting design iteration, validation, and agile BIM to fabrication delivery methods. You will manage project technology development, compliance, and strategy on projects. Collaborating with the Head of Technology, you will play a crucial role in region-wide technology implementation. Key responsibilities include:
- Organizing and attending project BIM Workshops and meetings.
- Managing BIM Models and ensuring BIM compliance on projects.
- Supporting teams with Design Technology assets such as Grasshopper and Dynamo Scripts.
- Conducting workshops on setting up projects, site files, and area scheduling.
- Providing proactive support and mentorship to design teams.
- Running software training sessions for teams on projects.
- Assisting with Revit, Rhino, and Grasshopper capabilities on live projects.
- Contributing to the studio's technology strategy.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Building Science, Architecture, Design Technology, or Computation.
- 3-5 years of relevant BIM experience on complex, large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of the BIM process and proven experience in BIM project coordination.
- Advanced knowledge in Revit and Rhino; experience in resolving technical issues.
- Proficiency in Dynamo, Grasshopper, Rhino.Inside, and other technology software packages.
- Experience authoring and implementing Revit Standards and Content Management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communicator with a commitment to supporting design teams.
