As Senior Buyer, you will work across various schemes assisting with various materials with a focus on brickwork and carpentry packages. Schemes will primarily me large, high-end RC-Frame Residential mixed-use developments in the London area.

Independently manages the end-to-end purchasing process, including issuing enquiries, analyzing bids, and placing orders to meet project delivery schedules.

* Monitors and ensures the timely receipt of information and requisitions, proactively managing any delays and their impact on procurement.

* Collaborates with project teams to provide ongoing updates on procurement status and offers insights during the preconstruction phase.

* Ensures all purchase orders are accurate, detailed, and align with project specifications and site requirements.

* Builds and maintains strong, long-term relationships with suppliers, focusing on value for money, quality, and continuous improvement.

* Manages existing rebate agreements and identifies opportunities for new ones, presenting proposals to the Purchasing Manager for approval.

* Leads new buying initiatives, including commodity agreements, to deliver cost savings and enhance procurement efficiency.

* Supports risk management within the procurement process, safeguarding the company’s commercial reputation and mitigating potential risks.

The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
