My London Market Insurance client is searching for a Technical Lead / Senior Project Manager to join their growing team. This role is pivotal in building out our infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and leading the onboarding of new syndicates.

As a Technical Lead / Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in our organisation by providing technical leadership, driving the development of robust infrastructure, and overseeing the delivery of complex projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and other key stakeholders, while managing various resources to leveraging both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

Build Organisational Infrastructure - Lead the development and implementation of technical infrastructure that aligns with the clients’ objectives.

Manage and deliver projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.

Oversee and coordinate resources, including developers, business analysts, and third-party vendors, to ensure optimal performance and delivery.

Develop and maintain high-level architectural designs, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.

Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation, managing expectations and delivering technical solutions that drive business value.

London Market Insurance - Demonstrate strong understanding and experience in the London insurance market, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Effectively onboarding new syndicates.

Experience

Experience in a Technical Lead / Technical Project Manager role within the London market Insurance sector, preferably with a Lloyd’s Managing Agent.

Demonstrated experience in building out organisational infrastructure

Expertise in project management, with proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Background in solutions architecture and system design.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.

Experience managing and coordinating cross-functional teams including Developers and Business Analysts.

Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the London Market
