• Create and implement temporary electrical services design solutions for the Hinkley 'C' Common Building Services.
• Ensure integration, technical assurance, compliance, health, safety, and sustainability of design and engineering for defect-free handover within the budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with the Principal Designer and Principal Contractor to meet CDM requirements.
• Collaborate within the CBS electrical design and electrical CBS team for 690V AC distribution, 400V AC distribution, 110V AC distribution, lighting, sockets, plant and equipment supplies, fire alarm & detection systems, and general support solutions.
• Share relevant information between design services to ensure comprehensive integration.
• Develop specifications, datasheets, calculations, schedules, and drawings.
• Review and check vendor documents for electrical compliance.
• Support design/construction reviews and sign-offs.
• Address design risks and prepare risk assessments.
• Provide technical support and identify innovative solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with technical consultants and suppliers.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience (as per MEH matrix):

• Collaborative mindset and strong relationship-building skills.
• Effective communication and writing abilities.
• Promotion of innovation and continuous improvement in design.
• Desirable: Knowledge and competency in Trimble Pro Design, Dialux EVO 10.1 design software, and AutoCAD 2020.
• Detailed knowledge of codes of practice, especially temporary services designer duties under CDM and regulatory requirements.
• Minimum HNC & HND in electrical installation services.
