At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.
We have an new exciting and career defining opportunity for a Manufacturing Tooling Engineer to join the team.
The successful applicant will perform a variety of engineering duties in planning and modifying fixtures, tools and manufacturing processes.

How You'll Contribute We're looking for someone with the ability to resolve production issues in a timely manner completing all documentation on assigned parts.
Analyse Tooling process flows continually for the improvements of quality, cost reduction, lead-time reduction for new work
Coordinate Tool inspection procedures with multifunctional teams
Determine required material and tools to meet manufacturing demands
Relevant plant tooling experience
Proficient IT skills (ideally ERP system, Office packages etc)
