We are assisting our client in Newbury in recruiting a Business Development Executive to join their busy team. You will ideally have previous experience in a sales environment, but full training will be provided.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for account development and maintenance with the objective of maximising revenue.
Gain a clear understanding of customers’ business requirements.
Liaise internally to resolve issues with both customers and suppliers including, when required, any financial issues.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
Observe competitor activity and gather intelligence.
Consult with global business units to maximize overall Company sales opportunities.
Maintain and update customer database.
Days of work are, Monday - Thursday 9am-5.Benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays & dress down Fridays.
