Working closely with other technical staff on the formulation and research of new and existing products
* Application of own scientific knowledge in problem solving situations.
* Provide updates on project progress, including regular communication with the team leader and product management
* Technical Support - Provides technical advice, guidance & support maintaining laboratory processes, equipment, and resolution of customer issues
* Product Compliance - Meets required Production, Quality, EHS & Regulatory policies when maintaining existing products and providing new solutions
* Minimum of five GCSEs, grades 9-5 or equivalent, with experience working in a laboratory environment
* BSc or Masters in Chemistry or Physical science preferred
* Proficient in use of common productivity software applications
* Practical working knowledge in a relevant formulating laboratory environment
* Competent in the use of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
* Able to take ownership and responsibility of their work and think for themselves while being receptive to feedback to continuously improve the quality of the development
* Ability to travel occasionally and stay away overnight
