Sherriff Stained Glass have a great opportunity for a new candidate to join our skilled team in Wimborne, Dorset. We specialise in the design and production of bespoke new commissions and the repair, restoration and conservation of stained glass and traditional glazing. We are recognised as craftsmen and craftswomen.

A keen eye for detail, positive attitude and initiative is essential. Training in all aspects of glass and lead work will be provided.

The role can often involve working at height from scaffolding and ladders and can be physically demanding.

The role will be a mixture of site work and assisting in our studio/workshop.

Job Description

- Working in both commercial and domestic sectors

- Templating

- Glass Cutting

- Traditional Glazing

- Fitting of sealed units

- Leadwork

- Production of Plain Glazing and Stained Glass

Requirements

- Proactive with a can do attitude

- Full driving license

- Hardworking, punctual and reliable

- Able to work at height

- CSCS card would be advantageous but not essential

- Able to work effectively as part of a small team and under their own initiative
