As the company continues to expand its market presence nationwide, they are seeking an experienced National Sales Director to spearhead their sales efforts.

Role Overview:

As the National Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving key customer strategies and managing the sales team, ensuring robust growth across all channels. Your mission will be to maximise revenue and market share while upholding the brands reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies, goals, and targets aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a geographically dispersed sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Establish strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to expand our market reach and secure long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor sales performance and market trends, providing insights to optimise sales strategies and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing to drive brand awareness and launch successful marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the sales forecasting, budgeting, and planning process, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a successful customer manager and sales leader in the premium beverage industry or a related field, with a focus on alcoholic beverages preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire remote sales teams, delivering exceptional results.
  • In-depth understanding of the UK beverage market, customer channels, and industry trends.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build influential relationships.
  • Strategic mindset, adept at analyzing data to make data-driven decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for premium beer and the craft beverage industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Location: Remote-based, with occasional travel to their Brewery and customer sites.
