Interim Year End Consultant - Liverpool City Centre - £500-£600/day - Hybrid Working
A prestigious business based in Liverpool City Centre is seeking an Interim Year End Consultant to support their team during a critical year-end period . Key Responsibilities

  • Year-End Reporting : Lead the preparation and delivery of consolidated group financial statements in compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP.
  • Audit Coordination : Serve as the key liaison with external auditors, ensuring a smooth year-end audit process and addressing queries promptly.
  • Technical Accounting : Provide technical expertise on complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
  • Consolidation : Manage group-level consolidations across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process Improvement : Review and enhance existing financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Leadership : Support and guide the finance team during the year-end period, providing mentorship and expertise as required.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver clear and concise financial insights and updates.
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience .
  • Strong technical accounting skills, particularly in IFRS/UK GAAP .
  • Proven experience in group consolidations and year-end processes for large, complex organisations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
