We are seeking a talented Interim Financial Accountant to provide maternity cover for a 12 month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing finance team within a leading UK-based organisation known for delivering strong year-on-year growth. Based at their Liverpool headquarters, you'll play a critical role in external financial reporting, internal management accounts, and key corporate projects.
Deliver robust and timely internal and external financial reporting.
Collaborate with external auditors, tax, and treasury teams to ensure efficient audit processes.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
Contribute to corporate projects, including process improvements and compliance initiatives.
Support the delivery of ad hoc projects, including internal audits and assurance tasks.
A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with a strong audit or financial reporting background.
Proficient in UK GAAP and experienced in statutory reporting and audit management.
Detail-oriented with advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel
A motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
