Job Advertisement: Business Development Manager – Sea Logistics
Headford Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a global freight forward player based in Bristol. Our client, a leading company in the industry, is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join their team as a Business Development Manager. This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of remote and office-based work, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
Business Development Manager – Sea Logistics
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our client’s sea logistics business. You will be customer-facing, engaging with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to identify and develop new business opportunities. Building strong relationships with clients will be crucial as you promote the company’s sea logistics services and demonstrate your in-depth knowledge of trade-lanes, service offerings, and industry-specific regulations.
Develop and nurture new business opportunities within the SME segment.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on sea logistics products and services.
• Report customer feedback and complaints to the Customer Care team.
• Maintain and update customer information using CRM tools.
Proven track record in business-to-business sales, with experience in face-to-face interactions.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to build customer relationships.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and MS Office tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the logistics industry, particularly sea logistics.
• Ability to thrive in a targeted new business environment.
Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
