We are looking to recruit an experienced Chef, either working as a CDP ready to step up, or an existing Junior Sous chef for this recently opened Gastro pub in Harrogate town centre, which is about to be given a face-lift ready to open 7 days a week later in the summer

The Position is based on starting right away in a sister hotel in the town, before going over to this lovely gastro pub in the town centre following the slight refurb in the coming months, with the role then being split between the 2 kitchens, giving the right candidate the opportunity to work over multiple venues

Our clients are a local Country Inn & hotel group, with a big ethos on food quality, sustainability & local produce, with a fantastic support structure in place, this really is the ideal environment for a career minded chef to flourish.

The position offers a fantastic salary, above average tips, the opportunity to work with the finest local produce, and a support structure that means you are never left to struggle with staffing shortages, or missing equipment, and the chance to work within a company that is looking to gain rosettes & accolades, which will be a highlight on any CV.

Experience working in a Fresh food led kitchen environment, be in restaurant, hotel or even Gastro pub.

- Kitchen management experience, from H&S to haccp, wastage control, labour costs & menu costing

- Spot on knowledge of seasonal produce, and utilising ingredients in a creative way for the award winning menu
