As they continue to expand their visions, they are seeking a Property & Construction Claims Manager with French experience to be part of their talented Global Claims Team in the UK.
The Property & Construction Claims Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire process of handling insurance claims effectively from these lines of business. The ideal candidate will have a strong exposure to Property & Construction Claims in the French and EU markets, with a deep understanding on claims handling processes. They must also obtain knowledge of claims outside of TPA’s delegated authority – including reserving, coverage determination and resolution strategies.
You will be overseeing and managing TPA’s handling claims for the company's MGAs from Property & Construction lines and classes of business in the French and European jurisdictions.
• You will be monitoring TPA performance and adherence to contractual obligations. • You will be analysing a portfolio of claims arising from different lines of business and MGAs.
• You will be reporting significant matters to Senior Management and/or Reinsurers.
• You will be reporting to and liaising with MGAs in respect of claims performance. You will need a minimum of 5 years experience in a Property & Construction Claims role, with a solid understanding of the French industry and claims handling process. • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field is preferred.
