As the Commercial BD Director in this very successful Solar PV business, you will play a crucial role in developing new and existing client relationships, managing and optimizing commercial contracts. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful growth of the commercial side of the business, excelling at negotiation, execution, and administration of contracts, fostering strong relationships with prospects, and mitigating risks associated with contractual agreements.

Job Type: Permanent
Identify and win new clients and projects for commercial Solar PV solutions.
Contract Negotiation and Drafting:
Lead the negotiation and drafting of various commercial agreements, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), equipment supply contracts, and service agreements.
Ensure contracts are aligned with company goals and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks associated with Solar PV projects.
Contract Administration:
Monitor contract performance, compliance, and key milestones.
Legal Compliance:
Ensure that contracts comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with finance team to analyze the financial implications of contracts and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
Implement best practices in contract management.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in contract management processes.
Third level Electrical/Mechanical engineering qualification or Snr Trades (Electrical).
~5 Years’ Experience in Mechanical/Electrical Services.
~ In-depth knowledge of Solar PV technology, project development, and industry trends.
~ Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks related to Solar PV contracts.
~ Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and management.
~ Analytical skills for financial evaluation and risk assessment.
