Position: Demand Planner
Location: Southport
Hours: 8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday
Salary: £28,000 per annum
As a Demand Planner you will:
* Utilise planning systems to convert sales forecasts into achievable production and material plans and schedules
* Continually liaise with sales, production, supply chain, quality and finance to develop the best strategy
* Review forecast changes and highlight significant changes
* Calculate potential stock at risk and help define strategy to reduce risk
* Help with development of forecasting systems and processes
Skills required:
* Experience and understanding of planning process
* Knowledge and experience of working a manufacturing environment
* Good attention to detail
* Analytical thinking
* Computer Literacy including experience of ERP systems
