Oil Recoveries Ltd, an ISO Accredited National Waste Management company, are a well-established and rapidly expanding business, offering a national service to a wide variety of customers.

As a **Transport Planner**, you will responsible for a fleet of trucks across the UK.

**Requirements**:
The purpose of a Transport Planner is to oversee the day to day planning of the transport operation. A highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced at working in a busy transport department, able to deal with day to day challenges and provide cost effective solutions to the customer.

**Key Duties of a Transport Planner**:

- Planning daily workload for a fleet: vehicles based on and off site.
- Liaising with Traffic and Administration teams to ensure the highest standards of performance are maintained at all times.
- Maintaining, creating and updating spreadsheets and databases for customer reports.
- Reporting problems and dealing with issues and any queries that arise.
- Support the fleet and driver training team as and when required.
- Complete pre and post de-brief for all driver shifts.
- Deliver effective, professional and timely internal and external communications.

**Qualifications**
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of transport planning expertise in a busy and demanding environment.
- Previous experience of using mandata is Preferred
- Have excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
- Be able to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescale.
- Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year.
- Be able to communicate well at all levels within the business.
- Have the ability to identify and suggest improvements to benefit both the Company and our customer.
- Be a highly motivated individual able to work as part of a small friendly team, and under own initiative.
- Previous Transport experience is essential for this position

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
