On behalf of The Ministry of Justice, we are looking for a Construction Health & Safety Manager (Inside IR35) for a 6-month contract based in London, with a requirement to travel to required sites as and when requested, travel expenses can be claimed for travel to the various sites.
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government's ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.

As a Constuction Health and Safety Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
* Support the delivery of Government Soft Landings and programmes such as Digital Construction providing the necessary input and resource from the team as required
* Support the Prison Infrastructure team to deliver our construction projects in a safe manner, with H&S at the heart of what we do
* The strategic and technical support to the MoJ Property directorate, ensuring the safe delivery of construction projects for the group
* Assist with the day-to-day contractor and supply chain engagement from a health and safety perspective

To have a professionally recognised health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH and have CMIOSH membership with IOSH or similar or working towards) and a background in health and safety construction deliver
* You will have a strong background of the delivery of complex construction programmes across a widely varying estate
