Prestigious international law firm is hiring a new Senior IPParalegal to join the growing IP and Brand Protection team to work inthe London office on a permanent basis, working directly with Partnersand Associates.

Hybrid Working – 3 days in the office, 2 daysremotely.

Responsibilities for theSenior IP Paralegal will include:

  • Undertaking trade markand design filing, prosecution and registry formalities tasks workingdirectly with the associates/attorneys and with the partners
  • Responding to queries from fee earners and other team membersregarding trade mark and designs formalities matters
  • Providing support, working alongside the brand protection PAsand paralegals, on the trade mark application and registration processfor the TIPI group, including preparing and making arrangements to getPowers of Attorney signed, notarised, apostilled etc, conducting basictrade mark searches, liaising with IPOs and foreign associates, thetimely entry and removal of items from our database, WebTMS, upontheir completion and managing any necessary follow up
  • Liaising with foreign associates regarding new trade mark anddesign applications, assignments and other registry-related actions
  • Assisting with the handling of foreign associate invoices,including keeping records of estimates/quotes against which invoicesare to be compared and making recommendations as regards approval ofthe invoice
  • Assisting clients with and helping to resolvebasic invoicing queries relating to their trade mark and designportfolios Assisting with the renewal of trade mark and designregistrations worldwide
  • Preparing trade mark schedules(application and renewals).

Requirements for the newSenior IP Paralegal will include:

  • Minimum of 4 years IP /Brand Protection experience within a professional servicesorganisation
  • Exceptional technical, communication andorganisational skills
