IP Litigation Paralegal – US law firm – London.

Taylor Root have partnered with a leading US law firm in their search for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their intellectual property and technology litigation practice. This role is initially a 3 – 6-month FTC, however this will be on a rolling basis.

The Firm

Our client is a recognised leader in a wide range of disciplines in London including finance, corporate, private equity, litigation, and real estate. In the last 5 years, the firm have won „best law firm to work for“ and „US law firm of the year“ in London and have built strong team of lawyers across the firm to match this reputation.

The Team

The firms intellectual property and technology disputes practice have a particular focus on complex technology disputes, often relating to trade secrets, patents and copyright in the fields of software development and licensing, cloud, life sciences and AI-related implementations. They have recently advises technology companies on online copyright issues in connection with new product launches and infringement / litigation risks and represented an international oil services company in its pursuit of a supplier for patent infringement and breach of contract in the High Court.

The Role

You will support the team on variety disputes from inception to settlement/closure. This will include ad-hoc duties supporting the fee earners, drafting legal documents and preparing bibles, court preparation tasks. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tech and IP disputes.

The Ideal Candidate

Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal who also have experience working on technology or IP disputes, which has ideally been gained another leading firm in London.

Route to Qualification

The firm have a fantastic track record offering Paralegal’s the opportunity to train with the firm. Each Paralegal is encouraged to apply for the training contract internally however they will be guaranteed a first stage interview where possible. Several Paralegals have been successful in these applications and are now training with the firm.
